Science Week.
During Science Week the school placed extra emphasis in developing the children’s investigative and design skills through a variety of different experiments. Each class had the opportunity in engaging in a range of experiments such as; learning about electronic circuits, exploring different materials by making lava lamps and designing their own hot air balloon. This also provided the children the chance to use the new science resources recently purchased for school use. Finally, ICT was integrated into each of the science lessons by recording evidence and methods used. It was a very successful week and the children had a lot of fun learning.
